The drag operation itself can be tracked throughout the Gtk.GestureDrag::drag-begin, Gtk.GestureDrag::drag-update and Gtk.GestureDrag::drag-end signals, and the relevant coordinates can be extracted through getOffset(org.javagi.base.Out<java.lang.Double>, org.javagi.base.Out<java.lang.Double>) and getStartPoint(org.javagi.base.Out<java.lang.Double>, org.javagi.base.Out<java.lang.Double>).

Get the GType of the GestureDrag class

asParent

protected GestureDrag asParent()

Returns this instance as if it were its parent type. This is mostly synonymous to the Java super keyword, but will set the native typeclass function pointers to the parent type. When overriding a native virtual method in Java, "chaining up" with super.methodName() doesn't work, because it invokes the overridden function pointer again. To chain up, call asParent().methodName(). This will call the native function pointer of this virtual method in the typeclass of the parent type.

Gets the offset from the start point.

If the this GestureDrag is active, this function returns true and fills in x and y with the coordinates of the current point, as an offset to the starting drag point.

Parameters:

x - X offset for the current point

y - Y offset for the current point

true if the gesture is active

getStartPoint

Gets the point where the drag started.

If the this GestureDrag is active, this function returns true and fills in x and y with the drag start coordinates, in widget-relative coordinates.

Parameters:

x - X coordinate for the drag start point

y - Y coordinate for the drag start point

true if the gesture is active
